With a PhD in Machine Learning in Healthcare from the University of Cambridge, Marcel has led Cyted Health to develop and launch their innovative EndoSign^® technology, which has already impacted the life of tens of thousands of patients. Recognized on Forbes' 30 under 30 list and by Prix Galien for best medical technology, Marcel also advises the UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund and advocates for healthcare innovation and R&D investment.

Neha leads operational and laboratory services, and quality and regulatory functions at Cyted building infrastructure and processes that enable growth and improve efficiency.

Neha has 15 years of experience in innovative healthcare. She brings an in depth understanding of product development, manufacturing, scale up, clinical evaluations, implementation and roll out from various posts at Diagnostics for the Real World and the University of Cambridge.

Betsy is a global biotech executive with a track record building market value in diagnostics and medical device businesses.  Her experience includes commercial and general management leadership roles with both Fortune 100 companies and start-ups.  Over the past 10 years she has advanced innovations in genomic diagnostics through product development, clinical studies, FDA milestones, public/private reimbursement, and market launches.

Chris leads Cyted’s financial strategy and operations, building scalable systems to support the company’s continued growth. He oversees financial planning, control, and reporting, ensuring robust governance and clear visibility across the business.

With nearly a decade of finance experience spanning M&A, audit, and strategic finance, Chris is an ACA chartered accountant with deep expertise in scaling financial infrastructure, fundraising, and supporting high-growth environments. His focus is on enabling data-driven decision-making to accelerate Cyted’s mission and long-term success.

Jack leads the People team enabling the business to scale and grow, defining the people programme and strategic workforce plan whilst ensuring this aligns closely with business strategy.

Jack is a delivery driven VP of People with broad experience across VC & PE backed businesses. Jack is strategic and innovative, translating business strategy into People and Operational initiatives that enable businesses to scale and grow.

Bringing over 30 years of experience as a gastroenterologist, Dr. Fiman has been deeply committed to advancing care for patients with upper and lower GI conditions throughout his career. As the founder of Greater Houston Gastroenterology and a leader within the GI Alliance, he has played a pivotal role in clinical research and improving access to innovative treatments, as well as mentoring GI fellows at Baylor College of Medicine.

Today, Dr. Fiman focuses on leveraging Cyted Health's diagnostic innovations to transform gastrointestinal health, while continuing his advocacy for improved care and research access for patients.

Richard established the Cambridge Oesophago-Gastric Centre in 2001 and was involved in the early development of the capsule sponge. He initiated the UK National oesophago-gastic Audit and is Past-President of the Association of Upper GI Surgeons GBI. As a Surgeon and Endoscopist he brings his clinical experience to Cyted Health to ensure robust governance, patient focus, interaction with KOLs and strategic vision.

Basirat leads the Project Management function at Cyted, entrusted with overseeing and orchestrating the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Basirat has over a decade's proven track record in project management across diverse sectors including the public sector, higher education, and not-for-profit organisations. With a passion for driving impactful change and achieving organisational excellence, she has dedicated her career to delivering successful projects that address complex challenges.

Jody Campbell leads all strategic Market Access initiatives at Cyted Health, advancing access to care for the company’s minimally invasive EndoSign device and molecular assay. He is also responsible for overseeing Cyted Health’s end-to-end revenue cycle operations, ensuring seamless integration between clinical innovation and commercial execution.

With over 20 years of experience driving healthcare innovation, Jody brings deep expertise in coverage, coding, and reimbursement across the molecular diagnostics, surgical device, and capital equipment markets. He has held C-suite and senior commercial leadership roles, consistently delivering top-line revenue growth and building scalable access strategies that expand patient reach and provider adoption.

Shirin leads Medical and Clinical Affairs at Cyted, overseeing clinical strategy, evidence generation and validation to enable the adoption of Cyted’s diagnostic technologies and advance early disease detection.

She brings greater than three decades of global healthcare experience, having held senior leadership roles at The Foundry, Agilent Technologies, and BARRX Medical/ Covidien/ Medtronic. Shirin’s expertise spans R&D, regulatory, clinical and medical affairs, and she is a published author and holder of multiple patents.

Mark leads the software engineering team at Cyted. He is responsible for the development of our operational software and integration points with customers.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in building software products and software engineering teams in both startup and large multinational corporations.

Sarah leads the Research and Development work at Cyted across molecular characterization, statistical modeling, and image-based machine learning to build new tests for early cancer detection.

Sarah has more than 15 years experience in cancer research and genomics analysis across biotech and academic institutions in both the USA and U.K. Her focus since 2016 has been on the early detection of cancer using molecular risk analysis and deep learning methods and applying these methods to the detection of esophageal cancer. Her work in this area has been published in Nature Medicine, The British Journal of Cancer, and Lancet Oncology.

Matt leads Cyted Health’s commercial operations in the USA, driving adoption, building the company’s customer base, and expanding access to Cyted’s tests for patients who need them.

Matt has more than 25 years of experience building and scaling diagnostics and pharmaceutical businesses. He co-founded and led Gemelli Biotech and previously held senior commercial and strategic roles at Salix Pharmaceuticals. He also serves as a Professor of Practice at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Director of the Early Cancer Institute at the University of Cambridge and a Clinician Scientist leading her own research in understanding and detecting cancers of the oesophagus and stomach at an earlier stage. Rebecca and her team developed the Cytosponge-TFF3 test from concept through to clinical trial and implementation. She is a Trustee for Heartburn Cancer UK, a Charity supporting awareness and education into cancer of the oesophagus and its precursor Barrett’s oesophagus.

Consultant Histopathologist at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Trust (CUH) where she is the lead for diagnostic cytology and upper gastrointestinal cancer pathology services. Dr O'Donovan is a co-director of East of England Pathology courses. Her primary research interest is in cancer of the esophagus and. stomach. She received the Royal College of Pathologists Achievement award 2021 for innovation in pathology practice.

Dr Julian Abrams, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at Columbia University Medical Centre. He is the Director of Clinical Research for the Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases. He specialises in caring for patients with Barrett’s esophagus and early esophageal cancer. Dr Abrams research looks at disease biomarkers, promoters of neoplasia and targets for chemoprevention.

Dr. Jacques Bergman is Professor of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Amsterdam’s University Medical Centre. An expert in risk-stratification of Barrett esophagus, endoscopic detection and treatment of early Barrett’s neoplasia, he has authored and co-authored over 450 peer reviewed publications.

Evan Dellon, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is Director of the UNC Center for Esophageal Diseases and Swallowing. He specialises in caring for patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and other eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases (EGIDs). Dr Dellon’s research focuses on improving diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of EoE and EGIDs.

Dr. Neena Mohan is a gastroenterologist and Associate Professor at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Mohan specializes in the diagnosis and endoscopic management of Barrett’s Esophagus and esophageal cancer. Her research and published papers explore evaluation of Barrett's Esophagus risk factors, diagnostic approaches, surveillance techniques and endoscopic treatments. Dr. Mohan has worked extensively in educational leadership roles and advocacy in medicine. She has also served on several national committees with the ACG and ASGE and is a reviewer for multiple journals.

Dr Shaheen is the Senior Associate Dean for Clinical Research at the University of North Carolina and Co-Director of the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Research Centre. His work on Barrett’s Esophagus, GERD and eosinophilic esophagitis is highly respected, and he is the author of over 400 publications.

Dr Wani is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and serves as the Executive Director of the Katy O and Paul M Rady Esophageal and Gastric Center of Excellence. Dr Wani has overseen clinical trials of non-endoscopic testing for Barrett’s Esophagus and is highly committed to driving forward innovation in the sector.
